The dependency of ozone generation-rate on humidity: comparison between different technologies

This graph shows the ozone generation-rate [in relative units (R.U.)] as a function of the relative humidity level (R.H, in %) in the air. The upper (blue) curve shows the ozone generation-rate of Ecozone unique ozone generators which is constant, independent of the humidity level.

The lower (red) curve shows the ozone generation-rate of conventional ozone generators – like those based on ceramic plates technology – which decreases exponentially as the humidity level in the air increases. Therefore, such conventional ozone generators are practically inefficient for treatments under normal humidity conditions which are typically above 50% R.H.
